Thanks to the generosity of the Currey Clan(Thank you!!).. Ricky and I now have season tickets to the 2008 season of UCF Football. Ricky is so excited he can hardly contain himself. It was a close one though...
Because UCF tickets seem to be harder and harder to come by (its amazing what a home field and a winning season will do), Ricky was beginning to get worried that he wasn't going to be able to see the USF game this year. Under normal circumstances that wouldn't be such a big deal, but since USF doesn't want to continue to play UCF, this may be the last one for awhile. So, in order to guarantee tickets, we have worked out a layaway system. We had already budgeted the tickets out each week, but no we are just paying back the cost of the tickets instead of buying them each week individually.
So here's to another great season of UCF Football, or at least I hope it will be... We will miss you Kevin!
*If you look at the picture I posted above, you are basically looking at our seats. We are in the lower bowl endzone, pretty much center left if you are looking at it from the field (aka side closest to the camera shot without being a diagonal section)
And here's a fun little piece of irony... I met Kyle Israel's grandmother today. She was shopping for scrapbooking supplies at Joann's while I was there. We had a nice little chat, discussed scrapbooking and it was very pleasant. Although I am not necessarily a huge fan of her grandson, she was a very nice individual.
