Beep...Beep...Beep

Although I know what the beeping in our house was, I am finding it to be slightly annoying. One of our smoke detectors is dying (at least the battery is) and it has been beeping for the past few hours. Since we have high ceilings and tile flooring, the beeps echo so it is hard to distinguish which smoke detector is the culprit. Poor Ricky was rushing around the house ninja style attempting to determine the problem detector and at one point thought he had found it. We replaced the batteries and then it started beeping even louder. Once we took it down and were in the process of trying a different battery, another one beeps. We think the one we originally took the battery out of wasn't the original problem and now we have 2 that are beeping because it was mad that we disturbed its peaceful functioning processes. Oh well.. at least we finally determined which detector was beeping.
